Jim's art reflects his passion for travel, for gardening and for art. He works in oil creating original, hand-painted, landscapes and architecture scenes. Many of his paintings are based on travels to Europe, throughout the USA and elsewhere. His style could be called "Enhanced Realism". He often uses a bright palette, modifying the colors and composition that naturally occur in the scene to fit the mood of the painting. It is his goal to draw the viewer into the painting where they can share in the joy he had in creating it.
