Description: Cliff Palace is an ancient Native American cliff dwelling in Mesa Verde National Park. Cliff Palace is the largest of the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde. As you can see in the painting, these dwellings are built right into the cliff. This complex includes more than 150 rooms. The circular pits that you can see in the painting are kivas that were used for religious purposes. The dwellings at Mesa Verde were used for more than 700 years before being abandoned in the 13th century. The painting is framed in a beautiful mahogany finished wood frame, with black accent trim. The frame is 1 1/2" wide. The painting comes ready to hang, with hanging wire attached.
