A large number of the charities that I was involved with were cancer organizations such as Pediatric Cancer, Breast Cancer.Org and Susan Kolmen. Unfortunately four years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer so looking back at all those years prior to my diagnosis and working with these great organizations now seemed so much more important than ever.
My husband Stewart left his law practice to work the business end, as well as, assisting me at the various venues. He does not make the jewelry but is a huge help In allowing me to concentrate solely on my work.
I believe I got my artistic flair and color sense from my father who was an amateur photographer and graphic designer for Bloomingdales.
I have been really fortunate to have numerous celebrities buying and wearing my creations. One never knows who will visit your booth especially when doing the shows in Manhattan.
Besides making jewelry I love to travel, go skiing, biking and experiencing diverse culinary adventures. My husband and I were members of the United Nations ski club which gave us the incredible opportunity to not only ski all over the world but to also dine on the food of so many countries.
My philosophy has always been to make wearable and beautiful jewelry that can be worn for years and years without going out of style. My pieces of twenty years ago are still being worn by my customers. I hope you enjoy my collection.
