Title: Wrigley Field - Ca. 1914

Description: This newly printed photo of Wrigley Field, Circa 1914, is framed in reclaimed wood under glass. There is a title applied to the glass for a shadowbox effect. The photo shows the field the first year it was open. Originally built for a team in the Federal Baseball League called the Chicago Whales, the field was called Weeghman Park. After just one year, the Federal league folded, and Charles Weeghman bought the Cubs' team. The Cubs began playing there in 1916, and the field was named "Wrigley Field" in 1926.
