This trip was long delayed as I wanted to time my trip so low tide was close to sunrise or sunset. The “Hole in the Wall” area was my first stop as it has many wonderful sea stacks along the winding rugged Pacific shoreline. This image was captured only a short distance from my campsite at sunset. While the clouds and light in the sky changed slowly, the waves moved by rapidly. Knowing the each image would be different, I took several dozen. This image stood out because of the multiple rows of waves. A long shutter speed blurred the waves, creating soft ribbons as they rolled ashore.
