Description: This newly printed 1924 map of Highland Park, IL is mounted behind an old window sash. The window frame has been sanded and finished black. The publisher and date are applied to the glass for a shadowbox effect. Sanborn maps were created in the late 1800s through ~1940. The maps have colored, numbered sections that correspond to a more detailed map of each section. This map provides an interesting view of the City of Highland Park, IL back in 1924.
