Description: Eve is one of my 3 truly Magical Faeries. She is inspired by a Victorian painting called Midsummer's Eve. This photo is from Mark Cook's 2019 exhibit at teh Philadelphia Flower Show. Inspired by the magical gardens and legends of Faerie Circles, Eve is made from copper, colored with acidsand oxides, and displayed on either the included 30 inch copper stake for use in the garden, the picture hanger hook on its back, or on an optional bronze base. It is coated with a clear outdoor finish to prevents its oxidizing outside. The owner should avoid getting garden chemicals on the sculpture as they are acidic and will deteriorate the finish. It is generally a good idea to recoat the piece annually with a clear outdoor spray. While the sculpture may never discolor, this takes about 5 minutes and is simply good insurance. If you prefer a longer stake, I will be happy to give you one the next time I see you at an art or garden show, as long as you let me know about a month before the show.
