Title: Chicago "Black Sox" - circa 1919

Description: This newly printed photo shows the 1919 Chicago White Sox. The team played in the World Series that year, but lost to the Cincinnati Reds. Several White Sox players were implicated in a bribery scandal; they were paid to intentionally lose the World Series. The team gained the nickname "Black Sox" because of this. This newly printed photo is framed in reclaimed wood under glass. A title is applied to the glass for a shadowbox effect.
