Title: Bleak Midwinter

Description: The Bison head in this image was only a corner of a photo taken by Jesse Young in Yellowstone National Park. The artist did some extreme cropping to isolate the buffalo. Here the PS CS6 Oil Paint feature was used exclusively to bring out the motion in the image. One of the horns was missing, and the artist had to create another. Can you guess which one? Because the horns were so close to the edge of the picture, the artist ‘framed’ the image to create some margin. Finally, the blizzard was created using a separate layer. Limited edition of 100.
