Title: Game Day

Description: As a kid my favorite reason to go into the city (perhaps playing hookey) was to see an afternoon Cubs game often from the outfield bleachers with my dad Bob and brother Mike. After my uncle Jeff moved close to Wrigley Field we brought our son Matt who is still a big Cubs fan. In those days Wrigley Field had no lights and that's why I call this painting Game Day. In 1969 the Cubs played our High School Faculty in basketball and we all got to meet guys like Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Billy Williams, and the rest. If you look closely at the picture you will see that I have accounted for every person that should be on the field, including the players, coaches, and umpires. Poster signed by the artist. Standard size 24" x 18" for easy framing. Includes white border, so no matt is needed. Black outline indicates edge of poster and is not on the actual poster. Comes rolled in a sturdy carboard tube.
