Title: The Four Angels of Torcello

Description: Torcello is the oldest inhabited island off Venice. Its large, ancient church almost creaks and groans with movement of the waves. Taken from a fresco on its wall, the character of each of the four angels is delicately depicted in their faces. They are framed in an oval wood frame with brown linen matting.
