Description: Crown of Thorns – The base photo for this piece comes from an abandoned prison in Ohio. I was in the prison chapel when I noticed the Stations of the Cross piled against a wall. This picture, painted by an anonymous prisoner, stood out. If you look closely at the portrait, Jesus seems to resemble a convict. It is so stark. Topaz software was used to achieve the overall affect. The framing was added. Limited edition of 50.
