Title: 'Auberge Des Lavandes'

Description: The Auberge de Lavandes is a small hotel and restaurant found in the medieval village of Villecroze, Provence. Villecroze is located in the foothills of Alpes de Provence in the Haute Var. This photograph, taken in October, is an almost archetypal Provancal photograph taken in the fall sunlight in a small town in Provence. The hotel with its pale yellow and blue colors, traditional in Provence, combined with its awning, blue shutters, white chairs and blue tablecloths... all bathed in a dappled light combine to complete this charming photograph. I took this image with my Hasselblad 500C, negative film and an 80mm Planar Lens.
