"I am detail oriented artist with diverse styles and take inspirations from proverbs, wise sayings, daily activities and dreams."

... as oil paint, acrylic paint, oil and chalk pastels, color pencils, and charcoal with a cotton canvas as my preferred working surface. I also use found objects such as plastics, newspapers, et cetera in the form of recycled art to address environmental and sustainability issues.
My works bear traces of Ghanaian cultural elements and elements from other cultures around the globe to advocate for intercultural unity. I believe everything on earth is interconnected, and humans are part of that equation. An innovative merger of cultures makes my works transcultural and transnational. Although my creative expressions, as well as my philosophy were influenced by Ghanaian traditional and modernist art, my themes reflect contemporary socio-cultural issues concerning the entire global community.
I believe that the audience should not be distanced from the work but must rather be part of it, and one can experience that emotional immersion when looking at my works.
Despite my knowledge of painting and other art genres, I have been attracted to the idea of repurposing discarded plastics and other obsolete solid materials into innovative artistic installations. This elevation of discarded used, and obsolete solid items accumulated in the natural environment can greatly contribute to the mitigation of their negative impacts on various compartments of the ecosystem. It also portrays interconnectedness of all earth’s diversity and the environment we inhabit.
