... Designs. Her mission is to provide customers with unique designs fabricated from high quality gemstones and metals including: sterling & fine silver, 14K gold filled, 14k and 18K gold. Each unique piece, inspired by great civilizations and historical periods such as Ancient Egypt, Rome, Tudor, and the Belle Époque, is worked by hand using ancient and textile techniques to create a classic look with a modern twist.

Ann received her Diamond Graduate diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1980 and is a Certified Pearl Specialist of the Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA) and an Art Silver Clay Instructor. Ann is an active member of both the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) and the GIA Alumni Association; she has served as Vice President of the GIA Illinois-Indiana Chapter and is currently a member of the WJA Chicago Board. In 2010, she was the recipient of the WJA Chicago Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In addition, Ann has collaborated with Harlan J. Berk, Ltd., a Chicago-based antiquities dealer, to create a line fabricated from ancient beads and fragments. Her work was featured in the 2008 Resort Look Book of fashion designer, Giuliana Testino (sister of renowned photographer Mario Testino). She continues to advance her skills and knowledge by attending industry related educational programs, conferences and technique workshops. Ann is also an advocate and active participant in initiatives that promote sustainable and responsible practices in the jewelry industry, including small artisinal mining operations and sustainable marine pearl farms among others.

Ann believes that all individuals should personally experience the beauty and feel of natural gemstones and precious metals. Ann achieves her mission with one-of-a kind designer creations that not only enhance, but also empower those that wear them!
