Title: Ancient Roman glass* and Baltic amber necklace

Description: I found this strand of Roman glass beads and decided that they would pair beautifully with another ancient product - genuine Baltic amber! I strung them on sturdy silk cord and separated them with pyrite spacers. The necklace is finished with opaque glass beads for a one of a kind, amazing piece of history! *Roman period glass fragment beads come from the Middle East and date back from 1100 AD to 500 BC. Originally excavated as pieces of broken vessels, goblets and platters, this glass has been drilled and cut into beads. Due to the rudimentary tools and techniques used in cutting the beads, they have a great rustic look and feel.
